Insights
Optimizer Insights is an in-depth review of your website based on real visitor data and click behaviour. Instead of a report full of charts, you get a numbered list of actionable improvements.
What do your
visitors not do?
You know how many visitors you have. Not what they do.
More visitors to a site that doesn't work,
is throwing money away.
Most companies look at the number of visitors once a month, determine that it is about the same as last month, and close the window. Meanwhile, a large part of those visitors drops off at a place that no one notices.
We place your visitor numbers next to the click and scroll behavior on your site. Then it becomes visible what a graph never shows: that only a fraction of your visitors reach the bottom of your homepage, or that your most visited category is nowhere to be found in your menu.
The result is not an analysis for the sake of analysis. It is a numbered list of what needs to change, in order of what yields the most.
Six components, one report.
Each component does not end with a finding, but with an action point.
- Statistics: How many visitors, where they come from, what device they are on, and which pages they view the most. The latter almost always yields a surprise.
- Usability and navigation: Scroll and click maps show where people stop reading and what they actually click on. There you can see if your most important buttons are above the fold or below it.
- Content of the website: Is your text readable, is the message immediately clear, are there enough images, and can someone distinguish the main point from secondary points?
- Social media integration: Do your channels connect to your site? Can someone click through from a post to the right page and does your brand flow seamlessly across everything?
- Sales and interaction: Where do people land, where do they drop off, and how many of them effectively fill something out? A contact page that seven out of eight visitors leave has a reason.
- Action points: Everything we determine is translated into a list: what to adjust, where, and why. Numbered and arranged by what yields the most.
A circle, not a one-time exercise.
What you get
- A report with the findings per componandt, with the numbers included.
- Scroll and click maps of your most important pages, separately for desktop and mobile.
- A numbered list of action points, arranged by what yields the most benefit.
- Where it makes sense, a graphic proposal of how a page looks better.
- A conversation where we review the report together, at your place or ours.
- A repetition at a later moment, so you can see if the adjustments have worked.
A report that does not end up in a drawer.
There are plenty of analyses. The problem is that most end with a finding instead of with an action and that no one knows afterward who should do what.
With us, the report ends with a numbered list. If you want to execute it yourself, you can. If you want us to do it, the list is already there.
- Every finding receives an action point. None remain an observation.
- Where a page can be better, we illustrate what that looks like instead of describing it.
- We look at your site, your social media, and your sales together, not at one piece separately.
- After the adjustments, we measure again, because otherwise no one knows if it has helped.

What such an analysis reveals.
Three findings from previous assessments. None of the three were known to the client.
-
scrolled to the bottom
On a homepage, only twelve out of a hundred visitors reached the bottom of the page on desktop. Everything that was there was seen by almost no one.
-
links to the top category
The most visited category of a webshop was nowhere in the main menu. Visitors found them through the search function, or they did not find them.
-
filled in the form
A contact page received sixty-seven visits and nine completed forms. Too many fields and an outdated security check.
What a process looks like.
First analysis
The review
We start with your homepage, your contact page, and the pages that really matter. The more pages we include, the clearer the picture.
Then
Carry out the action points
We execute them, or your own web developer does it. We follow up to see if it actually happens and if it is correct.
Every year
Measure again
At fixed times, we repeat the analysis and go through them together. This way you know if the adjustments worked, rather than just suspecting it.
What customers usually ask first questions.
Access to your visitor statistics and permission to place a small tracking script that records click and scroll behavior. Without that script, we only see how many people visited, not what they did.
Expect a few weeks. The measurement script first needs enough days for the maps to be reliable. After that follows the analysis itself and then the conversation.
Separate and that is no unnecessary luxury. The difference is often large: on many sites, over seventy percent of visitors come via a mobile phone, while the site is designed for a wide screen.
That is possible, but it is not necessary. The list is set up in such a way that your own web developer can continue with it. We will then follow up to see if it gets implemented.
No. For a webshop, we look at orders; for a company site, we look at inquiries and phone calls. The principle remains the same: where do people drop off.
Then we look at each language version separately, because the behavior often differs more than you expect. That is determined at the start.
Once or twice a year is sufficient for most sites. More often makes little sense, as the adjustments need time to prove themselves.
No and they complement each other. SEO brings people in, this analysis ensures that they do not drop out once they are inside. More visitors to a site that does not work is throwing money away.
We measure within the rules, with a cookie banner that works effectively and with data that is not personally identifiable. What that means for your numbers, we explain at the start.
