Maintenance and optimization
A site
remains work.
Most sites do not break. They just age.
A site that is stagnant for two years does not collapse. It becomes slower, it develops a security flaw that no one notices, and it gradually falls behind in the results while the competition updates.
Maintenance is about more than just running updates. It's about continuously observing what visitors do and making small improvements every month.
What you get.
- Updates of the system and components, with a test afterward.
- Daily backups that can actually be restored.
- Monitoring of security and a secure certificate that continues to function.
- Monitoring of speed, with intervention when it drops.
- A point of contact when something is broken.
- A small improvement each month instead of a major one every three years.
This is how it proceeds.
What customers usually ask first questions.
Not necessarily. We can also maintain a site that is hosted elsewhere, provided we get the necessary access. We agree in advance on who is responsible for what.
That can happen. We will first look at what has been used. If it is a common system, we can proceed. If it is custom work from another party, we will discuss together whether taking over makes sense.
We agree on that in advance, in relation to how important your site is. For a webshop that receives orders all day long, different agreements apply than for a brochure site.
Because visitors drop off due to slowness and because Google weighs speed in the ranking. A slow site costs you twice.
